Why we built it
Everyone showed up. Something should come of it.
Another quick sync. Another rabbit hole. Another meeting to discuss the last meeting.
Sound familiar?
We all want better meetings. But better meetings don’t start with another tool. They start with a little self-awareness.
Why are we here? Who really needs to be? Are we listening? Are we respecting the clock? Did we actually accomplish something?
MeetingEQ brings a little structure and a lot more intention to the room.
Purpose before the meeting. Discipline during it. Outcomes when it’s over.
No lectures. No complicated methodology. Just better meetings for everyone.
Because showing up should count for something.
IQ is what you bring to the meeting. EQ is how you show up.
The standard
No agenda. No attenda.
Before we meet
- Why are we here?
- What needs our attention?
- What should be different when we leave?
While we meet
- Stay on purpose.
- Give people room to contribute.
- Respect the time we agreed to spend.
Before we leave
- Make the next step clear.
- Give it an owner.
- Know what happens next.
The cost
“Just five more minutes” isn’t free.
The company pays for the meeting.
The people pay for it again: in interrupted focus, unfinished work, and evenings spent catching up.
Optional: the live cost meter
Enter your own estimates privately and MeetingEQ shows the meeting’s cost accruing while the clock counts down. The organizer decides whether anyone else sees it.
It’s one feature, not the point. The point is leaving with something decided.
How it works
Purpose. People. Agenda. Clock. Outcome.
Thirty minutes. Six people. $300. What are we getting for it? Try the sample below: start the clock, move through the agenda, park a topic, record a decision, finish the meeting. It is fictional and nothing is saved.
- 01
Set the purpose and the agenda before anyone accepts the invitation.
- 02
Run a shared countdown per topic. Pause deliberately. Extend time as a choice, not a drift.
- 03
Move on, park what doesn’t belong, and record the outcome with an owner.
- 04
Finish with a summary of decisions, next steps, time used and (optionally) cost.

Why MeetingEQ is different.
- No agenda. No attenda.A purpose and a timed rundown, instead of another hour without direction.
- Make the cost visible. An optional live cost meter makes “just five more minutes” a conscious choice.
- Leave with an outcome.Move on, park distractions, and record decisions and next steps with an owner.
We don’t do sales demos. They waste time. Try the sample above; request pilot access when you’re ready.
More features will follow, shaped by pilot feedback.
Your meetings. Your identity.
Your logo. Your colors. Your name. White label it however you want.
Just don’t call it ‘Let’s Circle Back,’ ‘Quick Sync,’ or ‘The Pre-Meeting Alignment Touchpoint.’
We’re trying to make those meetings a thing of the past.
No extra charge. Synergy sold separately.
The invitation
Better meetings. More room to do the work.
We built MeetingEQ because we’re tired of pointless meetings, and we want to help change how they’re run.
No credit card. No sales call. Access by invitation during the pilot.
Make your meetings matter.
Be one of the first teams on MeetingEQ. Request pilot access. No sales call; that would be a bit ironic.
Free during the pilot. We review every request personally and send approved teams an activation link.
